DEFENSE MINISTER IN AFGHANISTAN

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ A delegation of the Defense Ministry and the General Headquarters of Mongolia's Armed Forces (GHMAF) led by L.Bold MP, the Defense Minister, have arrived in Afghanistan. The purposes of the working visit of the delegation are to get au fait with how the 1st contingent of servicemen of the Mongolia's Armed Forces are serving in the international assistant mission in Afghanistan and to meet with administrative officials of the NATO and Afghanistan's Defense Ministry.
At the international airport of Kabul city, the delegates were welcomed by Lieutenant-Colonel D.Javkhlanbayar, a commander of the contingent and a national senior representative. With playing the national anthem of Mongolia, our troops welcomed the Defense officials in the Eggers camp, a military base in Kabul.
Warm meeting took place between L.Bold, B.Bayarmagnai, a Deputy Head of the GHMAF, accompanying them officials and the Mongolian troops. The visitors awarded several soldiers.
