GRANT CONTRACT SIGNED

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ A grant contract was signed recently between the Millennium Challenge Account-Mongolia (MCA-M) and TVET institutions, which were awarded with grants within MCA-M Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Project’s Competitive Grant Program activity.
A total of 17 TVET institutions were awarded with “Employers and Training Institutions Cooperation” and “Incubation and Dissemination of Best Practices” grants and received their Grant Award Notices. In order to facilitate effective implementation of grant projects, a training seminar was organized involving all grant awardees prior to the contract signing with MCA-M.
During the training, guidelines on Finance and Accounting; Monitoring and Evaluation and Public outreach activities were presented. Moreover, recommendations were made on ways and strategies of successful project management.
The Grant contract terms and conditions were presented by Mrs Oyuntsetseg Kh, MCA-M General Councel, and the contract was signed by Mr Bayarbaatar S, MCA-M Chief Executive Officer, and the directors of TVET institutions.
