Russia, Turkmenistan to agree on gas price by yearend - aide
ASHGABAT, July 5 (Itar-Tass) -- Russia and Turkmenistan will agree on the Turkmen natural gas price for Gazprom by the end of this year, Russian Presidential Aide Sergei Prikhodko said on Friday.
"This price is a question to be resolved between economic entities,"
he said. "The national administrations will not set a deadline for the
negotiations. Yet it has been agreed to switch to a European price on
January 1. Thus, the problem must be resolved through intensive
negotiations by the yearend."
