Death toll in Kyrgyzstan rises to 74.

BISHKEK, April 8 (Itar-Tass) - The death toll in Kyrgyzstan has risen
to 74, Chief of the headquarters set up under the Health Ministry Damira
Niyazaliyeva told Itar-Tass. Around 500 people have been injured in
clashes with police, she said.
All the medical establishments in Bishkek work in an emergency regime.
Injured people are accepted even by maternity hospitals; there is a
serious shortage of donor blood, she said.
The Kyrgyz interim government formed by the opposition has declared
it intends to take urgent measures for stabilization of the situation in
Kyrgyzstan.
