No Russian flights cancelled to Kyrgyzstan

MOSCOW, April 8 (Itar-Tass) - The Russian airline companies have not
cancelled flights to Kyrgyzstan.
The Aeroflot Company has made no decision to change the schedule of
its air service to Bishkek in connection with the recent developments in
Kyrgyzstan, Chairman of the Aeroflot Board Vitaly Savelyev told Itar-Tass.
We have been closely following the situation, but make no changes yet, he
said. "We hope that the situation there will develop without bloodshed,
our task is to maintain communications," Savelyev said.
On Wednesday a flight from Moscow was delayed in connection with the
situation in Kyrgyzstan. "Many people have to fly there, but there are
many others who give up earlier scheduled flights. The situation requires
a very delicate approach," Savelyev said.
Spokeswoman for Sibir Airlines Irina Kolesnikova told Tass that
Thursday to schedule. No changes into our flight schedule have been made
yet, the spokeswoman said,
VIM Avia company, that performs flights from Moscow to Osh two times
a week, said there was no change in its flight schedule either, the
company's spokesman told Itar-Tass.
Transaero Airlines has declared that in connection with the recent
developments in Kyrgyzstan Transaero was prepared to transport Russian
citizens from Kyrgyzstan through Kazakh airports. Beginning from April 8
passengers can book air tickets for Transaero flights to Moscow in
Alma-Ata and Chimkent with a 50 percent t discount, said Transaero
spokesman Sergei Bykhal.
