IMMIGRATION: TWO WITH INITIALS SJ HAVE LEFT INDONESIA
Jakarta, April 9 (ANTARA) - The immigration directorate general of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights received reports that two persons with initials SJ had left Indonesia on different occasions.
Investigation director of the immigration directorate general R. Muchdor said in Jakarta Friday that the departure of the two persons might be related to statements of former chief detective Inspector General Susno Duaji on a person with the initials SJ who had been strongly suspected of involvment in the case brokerage case.
Muchdor said one of the two was Sjahril Johan. The immigration said Sjahril left Indonesia for Australia on February 27 last year.
But he returned to Indonesia on November 1 the same year by way of Soekarno Hatta airport in Cengkareng.
"According to data, he came from Amsterdam," Muchdor said.
Data of the immigration said that Sjahril was born on November 5, 1945, and lived in South Jakarta, while the other SJ was Syahrial Syah Johan, left Indonesia on July 20, 2009 for Singapore from Soekarno Hatta.
Later he returned to Indonesia, but the exact date was unknown.
On December 13 last year, the immigration said he left for Kuala Lumpur and has not returned to Indonesia.
The immigration also noted that Syahrial Syah Johan has his address at Jalan Rasamala 8 number 10, South Jakarta.
Previously former chief detective Commissioner General Susno Duaji revealed that "Mr X" had contributed to engineering cases in the police force has been identified with initials SJ.
Chairman of Commission III of the House of Representatives Benny K Harman said in Jakarta on April 8 that Susno Duadji revealed the case at a closed door meeting of the House commission.
"SJ was not police officer, but close to a police general with initials MP," Benny K Harman told the press following a hearing with Susno Duadji.
Benny said the House commission will invite SJ and MP for a clarification on the engineering practices in the police force.
Another House commission III member Ahmad Yani said SJ was a case broker, which the lawyers already knew.
Member of commission III of the Gerindra faction Martin Hutabarat said SJ was a diplomat with a close relationship with a three-star police general.
He said SJ therefore became quite influencial in the police force.
