HANOI, April 9 (Itar-Tass) - The Association of Southeast Asian
Nations is preparing for the second ASEAN-Russia summit this year,
Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung said in a statement after the
16th ASEAN summit that ended its work in the Vietnamese capital on Friday.
According to the document, ASEAN hopes to hold the second ASEAN-Russia
summit in Hanoi before the end of the year and instructed relevant
officials to closely cooperate with the Russian side in preparations for
the event.
