PDI-P CONVEYS DEEPEST CONDOLENCES OVER POLISH PRESIDENTS` DEATH
Jakarta, April 11 (ANTARA) - Head of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P)'s defense, security and foreign affairs division Andreas H Pareira said in Jakarta Sunday that the party and all the Indonesian people from Merauke to Sabang were very said upon learning about the death of Polish President Lech Kaczynski and his wife Maria Kaczynska.
The expression of deep sadness and sympathy had been conveyed in the name of the party's central executive board, over the untimely death of the Polish President, his wife, and a number of high-ranking government officials after a Tupolev-154 crashed in Western Russia last Saturday.
As reported earlier, similar expressions of condolences had also been made by the Indonesian foreign affairs ministry.
