S Korean Export-Import State Bank to open office in Sakhalin.

VLADIVOSTOK, April 15 (Itar-Tass) -- Governor of the Sakhalin Region
Alexander Khoroshavin has offered the Korean side to open an office of the
State Import-Export Bank of the Republic of Korea in Sakhalin. An office
of one of Japanese banks is successfully working in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk,
which considerably eases the implementation of international investment
projects, and the Korean Bank would also promote this. Alexander
Khoroshavin held talks on the opening in Sakhalin of a new financial
agency during a working meeting at the Ministry of Innovation Economy.
As the governor's press service reported on Thursday, the offer was
accepted. In the near future, the Korean State Import-Export Bank will
begin cooperation with the Sakhalin Region following an example of the
Japanese bank.
The presentation of the Sakhalin Region in Seoul will come to an end
on Thursday.
