Russian State Duma speaker offers condolences after Chinese quake.

MOSCOW, April 16 (Itar-Tass) -- Speaker of the Russian State Duma
lower parliament house Boris Gryzlov on Friday offered his condolences to
Chairman of the National People's Congress Wu Bangguo after a devastating
earthquake that hit China's province of Quinghai on Wednesday.
"On behalf of the State Duma members and personally I express my
deepest condolences to you and the entire Chinese people over the
devastating earthquake in the Quinghai province. In these hard days, the
Russian people mourns victims of the calamity," Gryzlov said in his
telegram.
