Kim Jong-Il attends concerts by companies of army&security service.

PYONGYANG, April 18 (Itar-Tass) - Concert-goers warmly greeted North
Korean leader Kim Jong-Il who was present at a concert of an army fine
arts group on the grounds of military unit No. 10215, reported the KCNA
news agency on Sunday.
The musical performance was timed to coincide with a national holiday
- Birth Date of North Korean founder Kim Il Sung or "Holiday of Sun",
marked on April 15. Actors rendered a play and performed patriotic songs,
lauding services of the first and "eternal" president and leader the
Korean People's Army.
Kim thanked the company "for unique performance, reflecting the
inexhaustible spiritual strength of Korean servicemen".
The Secretary-General of the Korean Workers' Party, chairman of the
State Defence Committee and Supreme Commander-in-Chief set new tasks
before the company. Kim was accompanied by prominent military leaders and
statesmen of the country.
KCNA did not report the whereabouts of the military unit.
Kim also visited a concert of the song and dance company of the people'
s security service. Soloists and the chorus of the choreographic group
performed patriotic songs which "reflected firm determination of officers
of the Korean security forces, as revolutionary soldiers of he Korean
Workers' Party, to defend the socialist system in the DPRK".
Kim praised company members for "excellent musical performance" and
wished them further successes. He also noted that this "highly artistic
performance was distinguished for rich ideological content".
The concert was attended by members of the State Defence Council,
People's Security Minister Ju Sang Song, secretaries of the central
committee of the Korean Workers' Party and other statesmen.
