Explosion in Gal wounds nine people, two die in hospital later

SUKHUMI, July 7 (Itar-Tass) - Nine people were wounded in an explosion in the Abkhazian town of Gal, the administrative centre of the Gali region late on Sunday, said Laurence Kogoniya, the head of the interior department of the Gali region.

A source at the State Security Service of the unrecognized republic
told Itar-Tass on Monday that two people wounded in the blast have died in hospital.
