G8 leaders to sign document on greenhouse gas emission reduction
TOYAKO (Japan), July 8 (Itar-Tass) - Leaders of the G8 states will adopt a document with obligations to reduce by half the greenhouse gasemissions into the atmosphere, the chief of the Russian Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, Alexander Bedritsky, said on Monday.
He said the G8 leaders would sign on Wednesday a document on change of the climate.
"They will agree in the document that global emissions must be reduced by 50 percent by 2050," he said.
