Putin attend European judo championship in Vienna

VIENNA, April 25 (Itar-Tass) -- Closing the first day of his working
visit to Austria on Saturday, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin
attended the European Judo Championship.
Addressing the audience in three languages, English, German and
Russian, Putin, who is a judo black belt and an honorary president of the
European Judo Union, said the judo philosophy was respecting the rules,
law and the teacher.
"Today was an interesting day, and tomorrow will be even more
interesting," he said. "Judo is a battle of style and philosophy."
He wished all the teams success and handed out medals to winners in
female competitions, including Russia's Tea Donguvashvili, who won the
silver.
