SCO Week of Education to open in Moscow.

MOSCOW, April 26 (Itar-Tass) -- The 3rd Week of Education of SCO
States is opening in Moscow.
As ITAR-TASS learnt at the Russian Ministry of Educaiton, "today
delegations of national educational management bodies and basic institutes
of higher education of the SCO University from Kazakhstan, China,
Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan will get together at an international
conference to discuss issues of interaction of educational systems in the
multilateral format.
According to the results of the conference, as a spokesman for the
Ministry of Education said, "a memorandum on cooperation of SCO collages
in the creation of the SCO University will be signed."
In September 2010, the SCO University will receive its first students.
"In 2010-2012, "an innovation model of the teaching and educational
process based on multilateral interaction of national educational systems
will be worked through in the 'pilot' regime," the spokesman for the
ministry said. "Within the framework of the conference, tasks of national
educational management bodies to launch the SCO University, legal,
financial, teaching and methodical, as well as information and technical
aspects of the creation of the university will be discussed."
