BISHKEK, April 26 (Itar-Tass) - Kyrgyzstan's interim government keeps
the situation in the country under control and ensures law and security,
Interim Vice-Premier on Financial Issues Terim Sariyev said at the meeting
with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin on Monday.
"Voluntary patrols help us much," he said.
He noted that bloody riots in the village of Mayevka several days ago
are "a pure provocation." Organizers of the clashes were detected and are
being searched for.
"This was not an ethnic conflict, this was a pure crime," Sariyev said
adding that organizers of the clashes paid money to rioters.
The vice-premier underlined that the new Kyrgyz authorities would do
their utmost to protect Russian businesses in the republic from raider
attacks.
