Zubkov to arrive in Canada Wed for working visit.

OTTAWA, April 28 (Itar-Tass) - Russia's First Vice-Premier Viktor
Zubkov arrives in the Canadian capital on Wednesday for a working visit.
He is to meet with Jerry Ritz, Canadian Minister of Agriculture.
Last time they met in Moscow in October last year to discuss prospects
for bilateral interaction in the field of agriculture. At that time, the
Canadian Minister pointed out that the aim was to open up fresh
opportunities in trade in farm products, give greater scope to and
strengthen the accords reached within the framework of the 2007 Joint
Statement on Cooperation in the Field of Agriculture.
As a co-chairman of the Russo-Canadian intergovernmental economic
commission, Viktor Zubkov will meet with Peter Van Loan, Canadian Minister
of International Trade, who co-chairs the Commission on the Canadian side.
Zubkov is also expected to meet with Jean Charest, Premier of Quebec
Province, former Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien and visit a farm on
the outskirts of Ottawa.
