China-RF copter maintenance JV set up in China.

SHANGHAI, April 30 (Itar-Tass) -- Building of the production
infrastructure of a new Chinese-Russian company on maintenance of
helicopters supplied by Russia to China has begun in the city of Qingdao
in Eastern China.
As the Xinhua News Agency reports, the company was officially
registered in China in February 2010. It was founded by the Russian
Helicopter Society and the Chinese corporation "Yitong" which jointly
invested more than 70 million dollars in the creation of the joint
venture. The company will be engaged in maintenance of Russian
helicopters, sale of complete parts, training of air technicians and
production of light helicopters "Mil" and "Kamov."
The Qingdao company in the sixth Russian helicopters maintenance
center abroad. Similar centers operate in India, South Korea, Spain and
some other countries.
