China gets another batch of humanitarian aid from RF.

BEIJING, May 1 (Itar-Tass) -- China has received another batch of
humanitarian aid from Russia for earthquake victims. It was airlifted by
an Il-76 transport plane to Chengdu, the administrative center of the
province of Sichuan, from where it will delivered to the Yushu - Tibet in
the Chinese north-western province of Qinghai. The 7-point earthquake
which occurred there on April 14 destroyed the town of Jiegu where at
least 2,200 people died and more than 100,000 people left without shelter.
The first batch of Russian aid consisted of tents, blankets and diesel
generators, and the second one includes medicines and medical equipment, a
representative of the Russian embassy in China told ITAR-TASS.
Russia's aid is being rendered to China's quake-stricken regions on
the instruction of the Russian president.
