Last Monday, on July 8, the Russian artists gave an outdoor concert in Krusevac, outside the walls of the ancient Church of St. Lazare. People of various ages, clergymen and representatives of various social groups hadgathered outside the church to greet and applaud the Russian singers.

Krusevac became the third Serb city to host "The Voices of OrthodoxSerbia" festival. The Russian singers have already performed in Belgrade and Nis.

The city of Krusevac has a long history. It is located in a region that borders on Kosovo. Legend says that Serb warriors had been given acommunion in Krusevac before the historic battle of Kosovo in 1389.
