Raspadskaya coalmine blast death toll rises to 43.
MEZHDURECHENSK, May 11 (Itar-Tass) - The death toll after blasts in
the Raspadskaya coalmine in Kemerovo Region has risen to 43, an official
at the operation headquarters of the Russian emergency control ministry
has told Itar-Tass. "Thirty-nine bodies have been already identified," the
official said.
Forty-seven coalminers still remain below ground. Their fate is
unknown sofar.
