US$ 260 mln Hailan cement factory to be established in Marib
SANA'A, July 11 (Saba) - The foundation stone of Hailan cement factory in Marib province would be laid down next September at atotal cost of US$ 260 million.
The factory, which would be established by a Yemen, Gulf and UK partnership, would cover the needs of Marib, Jawf and Shabwaprovinces.
The production capacity of the factory will be at the first stage 1,148 million tons per year and it is expected to reach 2 milliontons, noting that the factory's labor force will be 100% Yemenis.
