Huong Anh Gia Lai donates USD 30 million to Attapeu
(KPL) A Vietnamese company Huong Anh Gia Lai has provided USD 30 million to Attapeu province to finance the construction of a 200-bed hospital, bridge on the Se Sou River and the resettlement of 250 families in three districts of Saysettha, Phouvong and Sanxay.
The foundation stone-laying ceremony of the hospital construction took place in Samakhisay district on May 11. The ceremony also served to mark the inauguration of the Se Sou Bridge.
The event was attended by Standing Deputy Prime Minister Somsavat lengsavad, Governor of Attapeu province, Mr. Khamphanh Phommathath, Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos, Mr. Ta Minh Chau, and relevant officials of both
sides.
The company also donates 200 million kip each to the authorities of Saysettha, Samakhisay, Sanamsay, Sanesay and Phouvong districts.
