Quang Tri, Savannakhet work on 31 border markers this year
VIENTIANE,13 MAY (KPL) - Vietnam’s central Quang Tri province and central Laos’s Savannakhet province will complete planting 31 border markers in 2010, the provincial Border Committee said on May 12.
According to the Vietnam News Agency - VNA, the contractors are nowpreparing for the building of five landmarks numbered 582, 583, 585, 586, and 587 which are at dangerous sites.
The provincial leading officials also visited and encouraged the landmark planting and technical teams of the ministries of Environment and Natural Resources of the two countries, wishing that they will fulfil their tasks, thus contributing to promoting the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
