Three policemen injured in Ingushetia shootout
NAZRAN, July 11 (Itar-Tass) - Three policemen have been injured as fire was opened on the house of the chief of the local district police department, the Investigation department of the Russian Prosecutor'sOffice for the Ingushetia republic told Itar-Tass.
Unidentified criminals riding in a car at 01:00, Moscow time opened fire from grenade launchers and firearms in the Ordzhonikidzevskaya settlement on police officers that were guarding a house in Engels Street where head of the Sunzha district police department Bagaudin Chaniyevlives.
The attackers disappeared from the scene.
An investigation team has been working at the site, measures have beentaken to identify and track down the criminals.
