Iran, Malaysia to boost economic ties
TEHRAN, May 17 (MNA) -- Iranian Finance and Economic Affairs Minister Seyyed-Shamseddin Hosseini and the by Malaysian Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Husni Hanadzlah discussed economic ties here on Sunday.
During the meeting the two sides emphasized boosting the bilateral cooperation, the Mehr News Agency reported.
“The Malaysian investors can invest in Iran’s energy and banking fields,” Hosseini said.
The Iranian minister also proposed launching a joint investment company.
Hanadzlah, on his part, said that the Malaysian investors are eager to invest in Iran.
The Malaysian delegation headed by Malaysian Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Husni Hanadzlah has travelled to Tehran to attend the G15 summit, which was held on Monday morning.
