MINISTRY OF LABOR AND SOCIAL SECURITY EXPANDING COOPERATION WITH ILO
Baku, 11 July,(AzerTAj) Fuzuli Alakbarov, Minister of Labor and Social Security of Azerbaijan, met with the delegation led by ILO Moscow Office Director Elaine Fultz. During the conversation, Minister Alakbarov stressed that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to development of ties with ILO.
He stressed that the processes of economic progress improve labor and employment system in the country and cooperation with ILO gives contribution in this field. He also spoke about the program signed 2006, November 15c between Azerbaijan and ILO, describing it as the important step in expanding relations.
Minister also updated the guests on the project entitled “Development of Social Securityâ€, prepared by the Majesty and the World Bank for 2008-2013 years.
Mrs. Elaine Fultz, in turn, expressed her satisfaction with cooperation of Azerbaijan with ILO. The guest said Azerbaijan is actively cooperating with the leading world’s countries and International organizations in the field of labor and social security as in other fields.
