BAKU HOSTS FIRST CONGRESS OF CAUCASIAN TEA-GROWERS
Baku, 12 July,(AzerTAj)The First Caucasian Tea-Growers Congress, organized at support of the International Caucasian Business and Development Network and Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), commenced in Baku, July 11.
Tea productions of the Moscow, Georgia and Azerbaijan tea-growing companies were demonstrated in the congress. As is reported, one of the tea-growing founders in former USSR, Ustin Shteyman,directors of the largest regional corporations, the head of Georgian Tea-Growers Association Farman Guliyev and others took part in the event.
The Congress was held for the joint solution of tea-growing problems in Caucasus, restoration of tea-growing traditions in the region, strengthening an export-import potential of tea industry in the Caucasus and attracting foreign partners and investors into this sphere.
Tea Congress with Caucasian producers’ tea tasting will be organized on July 12 in the building of Marine Terminal of Baku.
