BAKU OPENS SUMMER SCHOOL “ROLE OF ISLAMIC RELIGION IN MODERN INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS�
Baku, 12 July,(AzerTAj) - Summer school on the topic “Role of Islamic religion in modern international relations†organized by Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA) has opened in Baku and Guba region, on Friday.
Participants from 15 countries of USA, Europe, Africa and Central Asia attend the event. Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister, ADA rector Hafiz Pashayev underlined that summer school is aimed to study the role of the Islamic religion in the international relations and popularize this religion as the religion of peace and social justice.
This program will introduce Azerbaijan as a model of religioustolerance, Mr. Pashayev noted.
Azerbaijani Foreign Affairs Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims` Board Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade, Ambassadors of US, Iran and Qatar to Azerbaijan will deliver reports on the topic.
The guests will visit the mosques, churches and synagogue in Guba region.
