Over 60 Russian enterprises to take part in Farnborough air show
MOSCOW, July 14 (Itar-Tass) -- Over 60 enterprises of the Russianmilitary and industrial complex will present their products at the 46th Farnborough Air Show, which will open in a neighbourhood of the British capital, on Monday, the press service of the Russian major arms exporting company Rosoboronexport told Itar-Tass. Rosoboronexport organized the Russian exposition.
Multifunctional fighters of the companies Sukhoi and MiG will be thehighlight of the Russian exposition.
"Sukhoi will show multifunctional fighters of the 4+ generation Su-30MK2 and Su-27SKM that make a bulky part of Russian aircraft exports, a fighter-bomber Su-32 and an experimental plane Su-47 with sweepward wings," the press service reported. "MiG will present multifunctional frontline fighters MiG-29SMT and MiG-35, a deck-based fighter MiG-29K anda deck-based training plane MiG-29KUB," the press service said.
At the Farnborough Air Show Russia will put on display such helicopters as transport and combat helicopters Mi-35, a heavy transport helicopter Mi-26, a multifunctional helicopter Ka-60, a radar picket helicopter Ka-31, an antisubmarine helicopter Ka-28, a deck-based search-and-rescue helicopter Ka-27PS, as well as a two-seat model of the helicopter Ka-50, which is designed to destroy by high-precision weapons armoured and shielded ground facilities, slow-speed air targets and the infantry, reconnaissance missions and the command of a group of attackhelicopters.
"A new Russian warning system against mobile air defense systems DIRCM MANTA, which is a joint project of Rosoboronexport and the Spanish company Indra Systems S.A., will be exhibited for the first time abroad at the Farnborough Air Show. The cooperation between our enterprise and Indra Systems S.A. allowed for creating a laser system that can suppress any types of infrared target seeking devices," the Rosoboronexport pressservice said.
"One of the promising trends in space cooperation for Rosoboronexport is the production of spacecraft and the design and development of somecomponents of satellites for foreign partners," the press service added.
