KHAN BANK RECEIVES NAT'L PRODUCTIVITY AWARD

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The 11th annual ceremony to grant the Mongolian President's award for the National Productivity ran Sunday May 30 at the Government House. The Khan Bank was awarded as such for its productivity in 2009.
The bank provides comprehensive banking services through its 491 branches nationwide reaching over 80% of the total Mongolian population. In February 2009, the Khan Bank launched implementation of opinion system. This system allows the Bank to increase the work productivity, improve cooperation between employees and management and to enhance the customer's satisfaction by mobilizing the employees' participation and giving the employees the opportunity to be heard.
During the ceremony, U.Narantsetseg, Khan Bank business executive, emphasized that their bank always tries to provide quality service to customer at the desired place. According to her, to implement a policy to expand operations, the bank has 491 branches and 3,815 employees nationwide. Action to introduce new method to reflect the employee's opinion and initiative in the management's decision had high benefit to all the level of the bank's operation.
In the certificate, the President of Mongolia states, "In grateful appreciation to Khan Bank for its success in improving its reputation, competitiveness and commitment to the development of Mongolia, implementing innovative ideas in service productivity and ensuring grounds for prosperity, the President of Mongolia hereby awards the National Productivity Award 2009 with Golden Cup". In addition to receiving this highly recognized award, the Khan Bank has subsequently won the Top Premium Bank Award of Mongolia since 2004.
