SL Corp to launch Ecostar-XI satellite within hours.

LOS ANGELES, July 16 (Itar-Tass) - Hours remain before the launch of an Ecostar-XI satellite by the transnational Sea Launch (SL) Corporation from the equatorial zone of the Pacific Ocean.
If everything proceeds according to plan, a launch limit window is to open at 22:21 on Tuesday, Pacific Standard Time, an official in the press service of the SL Corp., which is based at Long Beach, California, has told Itar-Tass.
This time a Russo-Ukrainian space rocket Zenit-3SL is to put into
orbit the Ecostar-XI satellite weighing 5,511 kg. The satellite belongs to the American company DISH Network that caters for 14 million subscribers to satellite-aided television on US territory.
The launch platform Odysseus and the command ship of the SL are
already within the equatorial zone of the Pacific at a point with the
following coordinates: 0 degree latitude and 154 degrees, western
longitude, where launchings are carried out.
The multinational SL Corporation comprises the American Boeing
Company, the Russian space rocket corporation Energia, the Ukrainian KB Yuzhnoye (Design Bureau South), and the Norwegian Kvaerner ASA.
