Nuclear negotiators on N Korea to meet in Singapore next week
TOKYO, July 17 (Itar-Tass) - Foreign ministers from six countries
involved in the talks on North Korea's denuclearization will hold an
informal meeting in Singapore next week, Japan's Kyodo news agency quotes Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Wu Dawei as saying at a meeting with Taku Yamasaki, a Japanese senior lawmaker of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party.
The talks will take place within the framework of the ASEAN Regional Forum that opens on July 24.
No details of the upcoming talks are disclosed. Ministers are expected
to discuss the results of the recent round of the six-party talks that
took place in Beijing last week.
At the meeting, North Korea promised to complete disablement of its
nuclear facilities by the end of October.
