Deposit campaign of agro-bank is effective in Sayaboury
(KPL) Local people and businesspeople of Sayaboury province have
enthusiastically deposited over 20 billion kip with the Agricultural
Promotion Bank branch in this northwestern province in the first six months of this year.
In addition to its effective mobilising campaign, the bank also released 28 billion kip of loan to cash crops production and animal raising practice in eight districts of Sayaboury province.
The loan was allocated to rainy season rice production (3 billion kip), animal raising (2.9 billion kip), maize plantation (18.8 billion kip) and 3,200 million kip for the purchase of agricultural output, said the Head of the Agricultural Promotion Bank branch in Sayaboury province, Mr Phounsin Vongduangchanh.
The bank plans to loan more than 10 billion kip to inject the activities of animal raising and services, respectively.
