Rosneft considering possibility of coming to Italy fuel market
ROME, July 18 (Itar-Tass) - Russia's major company Rosneft is
considering a possibility of coming to the Italian market of fuel sales by buying filling stations, the company's representative in Europe Alexander Karpushin said at a meeting of members of Italian fuel sector and financial structures organized by the Russian Italian Chamber of Commerce.
"We are assessing different possibilities, and this is a profound,
comprehensive analysis that is determined by a large number of our company's shareholders. I cannot say as yet whether we shall buy a distribution chain or something else; everything will depend on a potential of the project. If proposals of interest for us come to us, we will review them," Karpushin said.
