PALMALI LAUNCHES “BASHIR SAFAROGLU� TANKER
Baku, 19 July,(AzerTAj)Palmali Group of Company’s New Armada-type tanker “Bashir Safaroglu†built by the Nijni Novgorod-based Krasnoye Sarmovo shipyard has been commissioned on July 18.
The deadweight of the tanker is 7008 tons in the sea and 4611 tons in the river. The length of the tanker is 139, 95m, width-16, 6m and height of the deck is 6 meters.
The ship-launching ceremony was attended by Palmali vice-president Rauf Aliyev, leadership of Nijni Novgorod and Sormovo provinces and representatives of factory “Krasnoye Sormovoâ€.
Ecologically-friendly Bashir Safaroglu tanker was designed to ship chemical products in the Black, Azov, Baltic and Mediterranean Seas.
