Senior officials to know more about political ideology
(KPL) Thirty Five senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Commission for External Relations of Party Central Committee are taking part in a training course and it is to upgrade their knowledge on political ideology.
The three-month training course, from 15 July to 10 October is beingorganized by the Foreign Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and held in Vientiane.
Ms Malayvieng Sakonninhom, Acting Head of the Foreign Institute disclosed that the curriculum covers the basis of Marism-Leninism, social science, history, economic geography of Laos, political economy, basic law and state administration of Laos.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Hiem Phommachanh said the target group of the course are the senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Commission for External Relations of Party Central Committee and at the end of the course they should have a better understanding of theideology of Marxism-Leninism, which is the spirit of the Party.
After going through the course the senior officials should bring the ideology of Marxism-Leninism to their work and during the course of theimplementation of the Party-State policies.
