Moscow, Beijing consider easing visa restrictions (adds).
BEIJING, July 21 (Itar-Tass) - Moscow and Beijing consider a possibility to make longer the list of citizens who can travel withoutvisas, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Monday.
"We are engaged in talks on an agreement that will expand the circle of people enjoying the right of visa-free trips," the top diplomat said.
This list includes "the holders of diplomatic and service passports, including representatives of business circles," he explained.
According to Lavrov, the sides also discuss "a need to sign additional documents as life goes on, documents that would regulate issues of labour migration to create favourable conditions for those who come to work inRussia legally".
In this connection, "we discuss the procedure of readmission, whichwill be implied to people who cross the border illegally," Lavrov added.
Thus, the international law base and the regulatory framework that regulate these issues in relations with China will be developing for theconvenience of the citizens of the two countries, the top Russian diplomat added.
