Jordanian minister hails UAE leadership's care for heritage revival
Zaragoza - JULY 21, 2008 (WAM) - Jordanian Minister of Culture Nancy Bakair has said she was deeply impressed with the staggering progress of the cultural movement in the UAE.
''Development in the cultural domain is picking up with speed of which other sectors is travelling, Bakair said in a statement to WAM after visiting the UAE pavilion at the International Expo Zaragoza 2008, which is being staged in Spain under the theme ''Water and Sustainable Development'' from 14th June to 14th September.
The Jordanian minister noted that the UAE leadership had mobilised every possible resources and efforts to preserve its local cultural, civilisational heritage and had left no stone unturned to develop cultural life locally and promote it at Arab and international gatherings.
