BTC DISPATCHES 418 MLN BARRELS OF CRUDE OIL
Baku, 22 July,(AzerTAj) - BTC Oil Pipeline Company Turkey General Manager Can Subhi said, 418 million barrels of crude oil were dispatched via Baki-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Main Export Pipeline named after Heydar Aliyev so far.
Mr. Suphi noted that the daily capacity of the BTC pipeline is 1 million barrels, adding that the line is operating near full capacity with daily transfer of 950000 barrels. He said 530 oil tankers have been filled from the line since July 18.
He also noted that 11 partners on the BTC pipeline pay great attention to social and environmental problems. BTC Oil Pipeline Company has allocated $4.5 million since mid-2003 to regional development initiatives.
