Website against bribery opened in Lithuania
VILNIUS, July 23 (Itar-Tass) - The website for combating corruptionhas been opened in Lithuania. It is possible to publish on it information about bribes and officials taking bribes.
"The main goal of our project is to mobilise the society for the fight against corruption," author of the idea Tautvidas Padgurskis toldjournalists on Monday presenting the new Internet page.
Aside from information about problems related to overcoming this evil and a forum where the visitors can express their views, the anticorruption website provides an opportunity to report facts of bribe extortion. "Don'tbe indifferent - report a bribe!," the website calls on the citizens.
The authors of the project intend to closely interact with the Special Investigation Service where they plan to transmit signals coming fromcitizens.
