Assurances Générales Du Laos opens new office in Savannakhet
(KPL) The Assurances Générales du Laos (AGL) opened on 11 July its new office in Savannakhet province to provide all its services for local residents of Savannakhet and nearby provinces.
Mr. Horlady Vorarath, Deputy AGL Director General, said at the opening ceremony that today, the AGL provides a comprehensive range of insuranceproducts for individuals as well as for corporate clients.
The AGL has developed insurance products along an individual line including Motor, Home, and Health insurances as a means to secure risks for local people and contribute to social development. The business line provides risk-cover, from small to large or for all risks, for local and foreign investors, infrastructure development projects and all kinds oforganizations in the country.
Assurances Générales du Laos (AGL) was established in 1990 as a joint venture between the Ministry of Finance of the Lao PDR (MoF) and AssurancesGénérales de France International (AGF).
In 1998 Allianz Group, the world leading insurance and financial services provider, took the majority holding in AGF. Since then the AGL has enjoyed logistic and technical support from Allianz especially from its regionalAsia Pacific Headquarters in Singapore.
