PMO denies PM took up with Krishna Pillai remark issue
New Delhi, July 26 (PTI) The Prime Minister's Office
Monday denied reports that Prime Minister of India Manmohan
Singh had conveyed his unhappiness to External Affairs
Minister S M Krishna over his criticism of Home Secretary G K
Pillai for his statment made on the eve of Indo-Pak dialogue.
PMO spokesman said in a statement that media reports in
this connection were "false and mischievious".
Reports had said that Singh is understood to have taken
up with Krishna his public criticism of Pillai's remarks on
the involvement of ISI in the 26-11 Mumbai attack.
Pillai's remarks had come ahead of Krishna's meeting
with his Pakisatani counterpart Shah Mehmood Qureshi in
Islamabad earlier this month. PTI MS
