HSBC BRINGS CLIENTSPHERE PLATFORM TO MALAYSIA

KUALA LUMPUR, August 4 (Bernama) -- HSBC has introduced its first-in-market
implementation platform, ClientSphere, in Malaysia to aim for world-class
service delivery.

"ClientSphere's technologically advanced platform delivers faster, more
efficient implementation of cash and treasury management solutions to the
clients," it said in a statement Wednesday.

"With its accessibility over our global corporate banking banking portal
HSBCnet, ClientSphere puts clients in charge by providing them with full
visibility and control throughout the implementation process," it added.

HSBC Bank Malaysia Bhd's head of global payments and cash management, Jason Tan,
said with the use of ClientSphere, the turnaround time for a multi-currency cash
management implementation could be reduced by 40 per cent.

"This platform reflects HSBC's commitment to making the changeover
experience seamless and collaborative," he said.

Tan said clients were constantly seeking new cash management solutions that
could improve productivity and efficiency.

"ClientSphere's advanced platform has the capability to meet these
requirements as it delivers faster and more efficient implementation of cash and
treasury management," he said.
