AZERI INTER REACH 2nd QUALIFYING ROUND OF UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

Baku, 24 July,(AzerTAj)Azerbaijani football club Inter fought back from a goal down to secure a 1-1 away draw against Macedonian Rabotnicki that sent them through to the second qualifying round of the Champions League.

Inter, who was held to a goalless draw by the Romanian club in Baku a week ago, willface Serbian Partizan in the second round.

The hosts took a lead early in the second half, but Inter found an equalizer throughVladislav Chervenko`s 77th minute goal.

The rest of the game saw a tough battle of counter-attacks, with both sides missingseveral good chances.

Minutes to the final whistle, Inter suffered a setback when their striker Walter Guglemon was given a red card that meant he would miss the first match of atwo-legged Partizan encounter in Baku.
