ORGANIZING COMMITTEE ON COE CONFERENCE OF CULTURE MINISTERS HOLDS ITS MEETING IN BAKU
Baku, 24 July,(AzerTAj)Azerbaijan`s Culture Minister Abulfas Garayev has today presided over a meeting of the organizing committee on the Council of Europe Conference of Ministers responsible for Culture on “Intercultural dialogue as a basis for peace and sustainable development in Europe and its neighboring regions†to be held in Baku on December 2-3.
The meeting focused on the agenda of the conference and cultural programs, as wellas other organizational issues.
The conference will also bring together representatives from ISESCO and ALESCO, aswell as international intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations.
By hosting the conference, Azerbaijan aims to play a role of a cultural bridgebetween Europe and the Islamic World, and to increase its international prestige.
