APB loans to agricultural production in Champassak
(KPL) The Agricultural Promotion Bank (APB) branch in Champassak province has released 14 billion kip of credit loan to agricultural production in the province.
Over the past six month, the loan was released into agriculture productionand husbandry in Phathumphone, Phonethong and Sanasomboon districts.
More than 800 million kip has been allocated to cash crops plantation, 1.2 billion kip for dry season rice production, 6.6 billion kip for rainy seasonrice production in six districts and 5 billion kip for husbandry, said Mr.
Somthit Thongkhamsouk, Head of Agriculture Promotion Bank branch ofChampassak province.
The last six months of this year, the bank will loan about 7 billion kip to local farmers in three target areas are dry season crops production,purchase of agricultural output and animals.
