Information and culture management trained for senior officials
(KPL) - The Mass Media Institute, Ministry of Information and Culture, in collaboration with the Cultural Centre of Vietnam in Laos organised a training course on information and culture management for senior officials.
It was meant to get those Lao officials who were dealing with information and culture to become more professional in the line and to exchange their experiences with the officers of two ministries in Vietnam, the Ministry of Information and Culture and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Mounkeo Oraboun, Minister ofInformation and Culture of Laos, and Mr Do Quy Doan, Deputy Minister of Information and Telecommunication of Vietnam, and senior officials from various departments of the Ministry of Information and Culture of Laos.
Participants would be given lectures on information management, print media, policies on culture-management of the state, management on cultural heritage and the linkage between culture and environment. The course would end on 1 August.
