Tajik FM begins his visit to Tehran to deepen cooperation
DUSHANBE, July 29 (Itar-Tass) - Tajik Foreign Minister KhamrokhonZarifi on Tuesday begins his visit to Iran to discuss political, economic, scientific and cultural cooperation.
The minister is expected to meet with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, parliamentary speaker Ali Larijani, Supreme National Security Council Secretary Saeed Jalili and his counterpart Manoucher Mottaki, aTajik foreign ministry official said.
Zarifi will also hold a meeting with Energy Minister Parviz Fattah, who co-chairs the Tajik-Iranian commission on trade, economic, technicaland cultural cooperation.
During his stay in Tehran the Tajik minister will take part in tripartite meeting of foreign ministers of Tajikistan, Iran and Afghanistan and in the 15th conference of the Movement of Non-AlignedCountries that opens there on Tuesday.
