Sheikh Khalifa Medical City offers heart resuscitation services
Abu Dhabi, July 2008 (WAM) - The Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC)officially announced yesterday opening of the heart resuscitation section for the admitted and out patients. This section will be the first ever in the Middle East, which provides world-class services to the heart patients.
Dr Awatif Al Sosi, director of the heart resuscitation services at the SKMC, said the heart physiotherapists help patients move, work and exercise under supervision, following heart failure, or heart surgery, or resume their natural lives. She noted that the statistics show worldwide that the heart resuscitation services are effective in recovery from heart diseases or surgeries.
